HRH is flying out of Montego Bay so we decided on a little trat of an all inclusive weekend in the Ritz. This was to be the crowning moment of HRH the Queen Mother’s holiday as she is a bit of a label snob. A stop along the way in Oho Rios for all to buy some bling and things are shaping up well.

At the hotel things go inexplicably wrong. Almost immediately HRH complains of food poisoning and takes to her bed. The rest of the family make the most of the facilities, and take turns checking on HRH. Actually inexplicable is not the word, as I have a fair idea what is going on. During the week, while the kids are a school and I am at work, all of Lady of Leisure’s attention is focused entirely on HRH. Come the weekend and that attention gets divided, so suddenly some hardship, disease or anything pitiful comes over her to wrest some of the limelight back. It is quite pathetic.
