Still no sign of the car. Work has not even begun on it as the insurance company are yet to send an assessor. My work has not assigned me one yet and I am not pushing it yet as it is questionable whether Mother of Leisure was covered by the insurance. New Best Friends are leaving the island for a few weeks tomorrow, so we will get their car as a direct replacement while they are gone.

In the mean time, Lady of Leisure’s friends have been brilliant taking Mother of Leisure to the supermarket and calling in for chats, especially Nordy Lass and NBF (female).

Arriving home from work MoL, begins to have a go at me for not having a replacement car and how tough they are finding it especially Father of Leisure who has not left the house in days. The self-righteous indignation absolutely astounded me, particularly when she was in no position to be self-righteous.

Regretfully I held my tongue.
