Mother of Leisure kindly agreed to go to the airport with New Best Friends and to wait for a few hours before picking up Lady of Leisure and the next batch of visitors. The Biker Boy, his wife and child are the first visitors not related. Its important to make good impression as I reckon a non-family recommendation carries much more weight and we do like having visitors.

I had planned work around completing a project today, but not surprisingly this has over run. This could turn out to be a bit of an issue by eating into my free time. I have booked Friday and Monday off next week and I may well be sending our guests to Portland without me.
