Finally everyone comes back though fraught traveling has put everyone’s nerves on edge, including mine. Not the hugely romantic homecoming I was hoping for, though I am probably to blame for this.

It seems that the family had a pretty good time in London and Brighton, though good weather and a holiday weekend could paint most places in a good light. Lady of Leisure was hugely impressed by Brighton, to the extent she airs the possibility of me working in London, commuting from Brighton as our next little adventure. Norman Cook, old folks, the cottaging in every public space, and the Tory party conference every second year mean I’m not so sure.
